One of the most common questions we get from couples who are planning an elopement (or an intimate wedding or a micro-wedding or whatever you wanna call it) is: Can we add on X activity to our day? Is that normal? Can you do that at an elopement?

We not only recommend you do any type of activity, even if it's just popping champagne, but we encourage you to consider your big day as the best day of your life, take advantage and do everything you've always dreamed of, this is the best part of elopements:

Glacier tours

Exploring an ice cave, glacier walking, ice climbing, snowmobile excursion... glaciers offer us a thousand activities and as a elopement photographers we can tell the possibilities are endless! Some of them are only available in winter but we can enjoy them all year and they are one of my first recommendations for your wedding in Iceland.

Helicopter tour

This is an experience that must be lived once in a lifetime. Iceland is already spectacular itself, but Iceland from the air is even more so. Tours are available to suit all budgets and flights can be customized. From a short flight to simply live the experience to a vehicle that will accompany us all day as a taxi around Iceland!

Super jeep tours

Enjoy your day with no need of driving around and book a super jeep tour. You will not only be able to get to the most difficult and inaccessible places, but you will enjoy the views while the most experienced off-roading drivers bring you safely to the most amazing places in the world!

Dog sledding

This experience is for the animal lovers. On snow or dry land, you will enjoy the Icelandic landscapes with the best and friendly company ever. Alaskan huskies and Greenland dogs are specially made for the cold and the main focus of the companies is always the wellbeing of their dogs!

Horseback riding

The Icelanders are very proud of their horses and it is not for less. The Icelandic horse is one of the most special in the world for its courage and strength. Imagine galloping along a black beach or walking in the middle of waterfalls...

Hiking and trekkings

Iceland is full of amazing places and a lot of hidden ones are waiting to be explored and discovered. Hiking, snowshoeing, skiing.... on your wedding day is not only cool but it will allow you to get to places where the tourists do not go, so I totally recommend you to consider a little hiking on your elopement day.

Close your eyes and imagine you and your best friend kayaking between blue icebergs in front of a huge glacier... Do you like it?

Camping

If you want to have a two day elopement in Iceland because you don't want to miss a thing, then I totally recommend you to consider camping for a night! Imagine making a bonfire, listening to music under the midnight sun and watching the longest and most beautiful sunrise in the world from the top of a mountain in the highlands.
